This still is from an animation where I was playing around with a poor man's version of Flocking behavior. The school of fish were generated as Exploder particles with the Animation Direction reversed and toggled, then I tweaked the motion of some of the fish to make the movement more organic. The result was surprisingly effective.

This image is an earlier version that shows off the cast light a bit better.
